Why can't I get the gas to light on my refigerator?

Here are a couple of things you can check:

  1. Make sure you have gas going to the unit
  2. Make sure the gas bottle valve is open and turned on
  3. Check the igniter to make sure it is sparking

This will, at the very least, give you some starting points. There may be a blockage in the gas lines or a sensor is malfunctioning in which case it may need factory repairs or replacement.
