I want to drop a 350 into my k1500 that has a vortec 4.3 in it, and i would like to know if the 350 would bolt directly to the transmission, and if the 350 would still use the same engine mounts as i have herd some people say?
I seriously doubt it--4.3 is a v 6 isn't it? transmissions are not the same--
-computer would be different,
exhaust would seriously be to small
brakes are maybe to small for the increased power,radiater needs to be bigger,-and many other things
that's why vehicles have codes--the VIN tells exactly what the vehicle had from factory-
