Got the radiator replaced added a new transcooler, exhaust leaks fixed for $1500.00 out the door. This on a 1988 Fleetwood pace arrrow 454. man does she run smooth and quiet!.
Ok now sometimes when I press on the accelerator this very loud rattle like noise appears for about 5 seconds. It sounds like it coming from a black box looking device mounted on the driver side of the dog house. I have no idea why this is occuring any ideas would be helpful.
P.s. there is nothing loose or dangling in the engine compartment.
WOW does this box have wires or other stuff going to it?? No idea what it is.Maybe something that works off the engine vacuum that drops when you press on the gas.Are you shure its not a engine ping?Can you see what is hooked to this box and where it goes.???Keep us posted and someone will have one too. MIKE
I would check the shroud & make sure it at the right place since it been work in that area. It may be a engine mount not snug if it been loosed, broken & engine mooving & fan toutching the shroud.
