I have a 89/1/2 Allegro Motorhome 27 ft with 454 chev 51k miles eng org owner with newer stock manifolds not cast iorn with crome air tubes into exhust manifold I need to rebiuld my orginal carb with electric choke or replace it with another type Ihave been told that edelbrock no longer makes carbs for 454 chev eng.Iam having trouble even finding a rebuild kit for my org carb.Does any one know what the cfm was on my stoch unit 750? Any help wold be great any additionl help with parts also

Hi Dave, Mike here,Have you called Edelbrock Direct.? Just put a #1904 With elect choke on my 86 winnie been a year or two.I have seen the ads in lots of mail order catalogs.I will look in some of the mails and repost if I see anything.
The Quadrajet is a wonderful Carb, and easy to re-build. You will need the carb number (stamped on the carb) in order to find the right re-build kit. There are a few tricks to re-building the Quadrajet, and if you go for the re-build and want some help, please let me know. Also what makes you think the carb needs re-built? Over the years I have found many Quadrajets re-built and the problem was something else, like sticking weights in the Distributer.
We own a 1985 33' RV and I have re-built our Quad once.
