Thanks for all your help Joe. We finished the engine today and the noise is really gone. My motorhome never ran so well. We drove it about 100 miles and changed the oil again. It had new bearings in it and new pan gasket. It had a 10 10 crank so it must have been changed. I still feel like the crank was never the problem. This engine never ran as smoothly as it does now. Joe where were you when I needed you? Just kidding. BTW where is your shop? If I am ever in your area I'll stop to thank you in person. You saved my motorhome.

I'm glad to hear it all worked out for you. That was quite a challenge. A 92,000 mile 454 motorhome engine could be very fragile. Now be sure to change the oil in about 1,000 miles and check it for metal in the sun like I told you. No need to stop by and thank me....just pass the favor on to somebody else. That's how it works. Joe
