I have a 1979 Dodge class C with a 440. The original Thermoquad will not pass CO smog portion of California emmissions. Even a after a $235 rebuilt it does not keep a setting. I called Edelbrock and Holly and both tell me they don't have a carb for that application that meets California emmissions standards. Anyone know where I can get a replacement carb? I'm anxious to get back on the road.
I have 78 class A with 440. Carb adjusted to pass smog would not drive well out the door. Got re-adjusted to drive. Sorry the carg guy died before he could rebuild the carb. I'm praying the 78 falls off the cal list before next smog period..my 71 318 is off the list.
