Looking for comments on Jacobs RV Ultra Team ignition system with the uphill power module for use on a 1992 454 Chev motorhome. Unit received has secondary switch which connects to the OEM coil. I question reliability having two coils and long wires connections. I thought the unit would connect direct to the OEM distributor. Anyone have experience with this system?

About 20 years ago I was at a Motorhome dealership for there appreciation day. I ended up winning for the main door prize a device for a motorhome you hook up and if you start your motorhome and didn't hit this certain switch it would start but would only go about 1/4 mile and just shut off. Right there in the middle of the intersection. From what I remember. There is no paperwork anymore. No box, just a Black box With JACOBS Written on it. JEP Jacobs Electrical Products, LA On the toggle switch it has a neutrual position in the center of the switch. One way is to the computer and the other way is for CONV.IGN. Can anyone tell me what this device is and if I remember the facts right about what it is.
