Converter/Battery Charger John 3-21-08
I just recently purchased a used 27 foot winnebago Chieftain and the converter/battery charger was not hooked up. The previous owner said he did not try to hook it up. I have been able to hook it up, I believe correctly, and my question is: Do I need to have the auxillary batteries turned on to run the lights even when I am hooked up to a shoreline power source? Should the converter/battery charger supply the power for the 12 volt lights without the auxillary battery switch on? Thanks for the help.

First time RV owner.

John
