I have a 1995 GMC 2500 4x4 with 155K. Bought it w/ a bad trans. Found it 2 1/2 qts low on oil. I put in the oil, and did get some forward movement from her, but oil is starting to look brown. Is it terminal?
Also, I found a low milage used 4l80e trans from a 1995 3500 w/ a 7.4 liter big block 4x4. Is this a direct fit? Should I do any shift kit upgrades, I hear the OEM needs improving..... |
