Leaking Allison Transmission by Don Adams
Post New Message I have a 2003 Bounder on a Workhorse Chassie with a 1000 series Allison Transmission. I recently noticed a small pool of transmisson fluid on the drive way. Further inspection revealed a very faint leak of transmission fluid around an area where some type of electronic sensor enters the transmisson housing near the rear of the housing on the passenger side of the vehicle. Does anyone know if this sensor can be removed and the gasket or grommet be replaced as a do it yourself job??

Thanks in Advance

Don
