Have a 1999 National Dolphin MH. Chevrolet 454 V8 with 48,000 miles on it. Lost OD on a long drive. After parking overnight, OD returned and everything seemed fine. Had a fluid flush and filter changed, nothing unusual found in the pan, but filter was DIRTY. After only a few miles, forward drivability and shifting improved dramatically, however, reverse suddenly became very weak to almost non existant. Reverse is returning but slowly and not strong enough for me to feel comfortable with it on future trips. My intention is to drive it another 100 miles, then another fluid flush and filter change. Any thoughts out there on this situation? Any suggestions? |
