My 1993 chey truck (v6) is not shifting from drive to overdrive at highway speeds. It will not downshift with increase pedal (throttle) even in drive. Shifts fine manually from 1-2-drive. Any easy solutions? Things to check out first?
My 88 s-10 would not shift into lock-up (overdrive) my problem was a solenoid ass. in the trans. buy the valve ass. its not hard to change once you have the trans oil pan off. but check your brake light are not stuck on. The wiring runs through your brake light switch. When your in overdrive and hit your brakes, overdrive kicks out
