Hi need to know what the problem might be with my 90 ford ranger. The transmission seems to be stuck in a low gear. but it does change when going at higher speed. could this be the modulator valve and if it is where is the modulator valve for i found a line but i think its up under my muffler and will need to take off to get to.Or does the transmisson filter need changing. again you have to push it to change to next gear but still seams to be running in low gear. also it is a 4x4 but i dont think it has any thing to do with the four wheel drive. Any help would be great
I have a 96 fora areostar it got stuck in park would not shift garage told me i needed new steering coloum did not fix problem now i do not have brake lights either i am a single mom in dire need of my vechicle CAN YOU PLEASE HELP THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME Lisa
