Gearbox does not shift from 1st to 2nd without backing off the throttle but is fine through the other gears.

Hi, Ian.I'd start by checking for vacuum leaks. Under acceleration you'll have lower vacuum, and if there is any leaks or the vacuum modulator is weak these trannys don't like to shift. Rich
