Hi we have a 1993 Ford Areostar 4.0L 2WD. It shifts great until you hit about 90-100km/hr then it feels like its missing a jerking feeling, it doesn't happen all the time. Soemone told me it could be plug wires or the oxygen sensor and not the tranny? What do you think?

I have a 96 Areostar that is doing
the same thing and thought it need a tune up and one shop told me I have
a leak in my head gasket and it is
effecting one piston causing it to
missfire
Re: 1993 Ford Areostar tranny clint 2-17-06
Could be a leaky head but id start cheaper...O2 sencers hardly ever go out (but they wont tell you that)pull it out and clean it with b-12 chances are its got carbon build up and isnt regestering right. if its your O2 sencer it might straighten up
