1994 Geo Tracker Transmission Brian Edwards 11-27-05
Both scenarios are intermittent and occur only when the engine is cold. If we let it warm up for approx. 10 min. The problem does not happen.
I have a 1994 Geo Tracker automatic with 104K miles. Occassionally when shifting into gear it has difficulty finding the gear. After some playing with the lever it slides in... As well, once beginning to drive it will not shift from second to third...Then suddenly it pops and goes in... Once this happens there is not further problem when driving.
Your thoughts please, Brian
1993 Geo Tracker manual transmission Steve Ritchie 12-22-05
Transmission will only move in 4th gear. Seems to go into all other gears, but will not move. There are no noises, or grinding sounds. Your Opinion please

Thanks

Steve
