Just wondering if a 3 wire tranny can be electrically mated to a 2 wire plug? This is a 1988 Mustang Hatchback 2.3l engine, harness has 2 wire plug and recently installed has the 3 wire. The valve body for 2-wire had 1 lock up (?) solenoid while the installed tranny has 2 soleniods and the 3 wire plug. Can anything be done to make this work? Thank you for you assistance.
