Have a 3.8L 2001 Windstar and have leaking hose. Mechanic says it is the radiator bypass hose from engine to water pump and is hard to find. Can you tell me if this hose can be found at discount part houses and how much should I pay to have it repaired?
THE BYPASS HOSE IN QUESTION SHOULD BE OBTAINED AT ANY PEPUTABLE PARTS STORE SUCH AS NAPA ADVANCE AUTOZONE OR CARQUEST AUTO PARTS. LABOR ON THAT REPAIR SHOULD TAKE NO MORE THAN 1HR. PRICE COULD VERY FROM 40 TO 50.00.
