Transmission cable rdakota 7-29-08  
Hello everyone,
does anyone out there know where i can get a tranmission cable for a 1991 fleetwood flair-ford chassey rv? i've been searching for days. help!:)

When I run into this I generally go to my Local Traction (brand name) Heavy duty parts dealer and have them build me a cable that I can adapt in. But Usually the local parts store I use has a universal Ford (or Chev or Dodge) cable that you can custom length yourself for throttle cables etc. They can also usually find the same thing for the shifter. This takes a real parts guy, not one that just looks at a computor screen like most "retail" parts stores. The key thing is the parts store I use supplies to the hot rodders as well as regular shops so they access this stuff all the time. Good Luck
