Howdy folks

I haven't posted in a long time, but my name is Patrick Young, I'm a retired teacher that buys and sells buses and bus parts to fund my non profit work in poor countries.

I have owned about 80 buses so far, and have dismantled about 25. Not fun anymore, but it's gotta be done!

If you need a bus or bus part, just give me a ring or email. If you don't want to buy something, it's still OK, I love buses and will give you honest, free advice.

Have a good one

Looing for an empty good running older bus.. Mike 3-16-08

Hi Looking for a bus around 40-60's vintage for a rolling Street Rod/ Custom Repair Shop.

To all having buses for sale, please contact me with additional info and pictures. SoCal preferred, but will fly out for the right bus with right price and condition.

Empty interior with bathroom is preferred. Scenic and odd ball models are good (will look at later oddball model years). I do like the old chrome sides. Lots of storage bays needed.

Mechanically it needs to be really good and/ or upgraded. Automatic is best but not required.

Tagged, clean pink, operational and fairly priced is my target, but can work around for the right bus at the right price.

Thanks,
Mike

Do you know what to call the system of stainless steel bars that you often see running from floor to ceiling in buses. Sometimes they're used to support seats other times just for holding on, etc. I want to buy some of them with the flanges and horizontal connectors etc., but I don't even know what they're called, much less where to buy them. Can you help?

Hi, the stainless steel bars running from floor to ceiling are called stanchions and are part of a set that ran around behind the drivers seat before the later part of the 1970's until they went to high seat backs begining in 1977 or 78, Hope this helps
