I recently bought a 1989 GMC Transit bus. (RTS I believe.) I am converting it to be a work room/ store room. I don't need the engine, transmission or ac unit and am looking to sell them. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what kind of places might buy these parts? Is there a market for them? Thanks in advance.
The bus is not running, so I towed it home. If you're in the area, you can come by and look at it. I am converting the bus into an extra "room" so I don't need any of the mechanical parts.
Can you give me the serial # of the RTS - is the tranny a stick selector or push button (v730 vs v731) - is the engine a 6v92 with/without DDEC 2/3/or 4 ?? (computer)
