Ceramic tile for shower walls??? John speckhals 8-31-04
We have found that 1 piece shower units are too tall for our ceiling. We ordered a shower base and decided to make the walls. We would like to use ceramic tile, but heard it may tend to crack. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

You will be fine with tile on the walls and floor also if you want as long as it is properly installed. Use a good "backer board" like Hardibacker or equivalant and make sure your structure is sound.

We built ours in 1991 and loose tile or cracks in the grout in the bath or kitchen countertop. This coach has seen somewhere around 150000 miles since the conversion.
