I have an 80 eagle conversion with a6v92 turbo charged diesel. I lose power going up ahill. I start going up the hill at 60mph, by the time I get half way up I'm doing about 35mph. I was told even if I had this one rebuilt it still would not have the power. I was also told that there is a later model 6v92 that is more powerful. Can anyone verify this? Would appreciate any input. Thankyou Tom

Sounds like your loosing fuel ??? or boost ??? there is little difference in the motors through the years..till you get the EPA motors from out west, CA... VERY low power 277hp vers the 350hp that most are tuned to....maybe it's time for a rack adjustment and tuning ???

good luck
