89 Flx Bus-Ready by Marq
Post New Message FLXIBLE transit bus ready for conversion. I have removed all the chairs, poles and lights. Ready to be converted. Bus is 35ft long and 8ft wide. The reason I'm selling this is because I purchased another one. This is an excellent bus to build your dream.

The Good: Runs great, starts up everythime. Drives very smooth and turns great. Compared to other buses this one drives like a van. It has power stearing and a tilt/telescoping stearing wheel. About 96,000 miles on a Detroit Diesel 6v-92 motor but the wheel odmeter reads 134,831. it has an allison automatic 3 speed push button transimssion that shifts smoothly. Unlike other transits, I installed a piece so that you can go to any gas station to get gas. The air conditioning is cold. The body is in good shape with minor cosmetic challenges. Windows and hatches are in good shape. Title is clear. Tires are in great condition

The BAD: Needs minor electrical work up front as the turn signals and windshield wipers don't work. The automatic opening doors don't work with the lever. You would have to open them manually.

The air suspension has a couple minor leaks in the lines. These leaks don't impare it when in use but do drain overnight when parked. When started the bus raises up. No storage compartments underneath, however their are flaps/doors so that you can get underneath the bus if needed.

If you have any questions please call

Bus is in Atlanta, GA

price is $5,000, obo
