Flyer caps? Joe Wilson 5-8-99
Well, what about capping the flyer buses, or the side panels to cover the windows on '79 or '80 flyers. Does anyone know if the flyer transits have storage on the the lower sides. Like for grey or black or fresh water tanks, generators ect.. any info would be greatly appreciated.. Thank you..Joe Wilson

Caps are available from R&M fiberglass in Oregon; they have a web site. No storage bays as stock, but room to add them and room for tanks underneath. Have a friend doing one.

If I am not mistaken, that is the same front cap as a Flx. If it is, R&M has them. I have documented the installation of mine at:

You might take a look and see what it is all about... Bill

I am getting ready to do an 81 Flyer for another bus nut, I surveyed the underneath and there is plenty of room to build bays for just about anything that you can fit below the floor. The 81 has the main airhandler hanging down there which when removed opens up a huge area.
I will have more on my site when the job starts in a few weeks. Photos are the rule...
