Bantam Trail-Lite Showing Water Damage Chpchk 7-22-08
I purchased a Bantam Trail-Lite Trailer brand new in the fall of 2001 and I noticed the floor becoming discolored. Now I am noticing that the floor is squishy but we are unable to find the source of the problem. It is not around the door but in the middle of the trailer, between the bathroom and the hot waterheater. We have also noticed the grey water pipes are right below the problem area. Has anyone seen this problem?

Hello: We are as we speak getting the insurance co. involved to have ours repaired, but with the est. of 22k to repair it i'm sure it will be totaled. Enough about my problems on to your, I have a friend that works on campers 4 a living and he discovered that the radio ant and grey water stove pipes were leaking through the caulking ON THE ROOF, which means it's traveling down the sides and ending up on your floor under the sheet goods. I have noticed and have talked to a few people about the same problem, as a matter of fact if you go into e-bay there are 2 for sale with the same water damage as ours. HMMMM maybe a class action suit coming up? I would be intrested to find out..
