FOR SALE in Montana... by Philomena
Post New Message I may be considering selling my 1979 GMC bus. It is
partly converted, but if you want a really nice interior,
you'll probably want to start over, because the guy I
bought it from thought chipboard was "de rigeur". It
needs a new battery, and may need some adjustment in the
vacuum-assisted brakes, but it runs fine. Wiring
is already in, plumbing roughed in (has toilet/sink installed
and plumbed through floor, but no plumbing done underneath
yet). I have linoleum, insulation, some pvc pipe, and a black
water tank you can install. Has awesome sturdy metal deck on
back, professionally installed (worth $700 alone). Has electric
fridge, cabinets, closet, propane stove/oven,two bunks, and dinette. All surfaces
are (as of right now) unfinished chipboard. Will also need an exterior
paint job, as this guy thought bright blue cheap paint would be a
great idea...and the paint on the top wore off. (But hey, were you
really going to leave the bus yellow, anyway?) This is a good deal,
and even if you choose to rip out the interior, it's a heck of a lot
easier than removing 20 bus seats with bolts rusted to the floor, right?
I'm being brutally honest here, as I don't want to waste your time or
mine. You won't get a better deal than this at this price! I'm sure
just the toilet, fridge, sink, oven, and deck are worth $1000.
I'm asking $2000. It's located in southwestern Montana.

Only taking inquiries for the next week, probably.
