All school buses have service records and make sure that it is DOT certified. Talk to the shop forman where the bus has been worked on and get his advise on the condition of the bus. Make sure it has not been striped of good equipment example: tires, battery, safety equipment ect... Alot of companies will sub wore out tires and batteries these are expensive items to replace. The cummings engine should do a good job for you it will definitly keep up with the bikes lol!!!! This basic bus is a good one generally. A 100,000 plus miles is no big deal for a diesel if it has been properly maintained. If you have not owned a bus do not be shocked by the milage. |
