Anybody have a list of engine/tranny combos? Nic 9-13-04
Does anybody have a list or a link that shows what engine transmission combos were availible in what years by what brand? Also a way to tell gas or deisel and displacement by the engine name?

I'm am looking to purchase a school bus for conversion, the longer the better, and from other posts I think a deisel/manual combo would provide the best MPG. It will be used to travel cross country 4 times a year so fuel economy is big issue.

Im in Florida and my local counties don't like to know what they do with retired buses or who retires them, so anybody in the southeast selling a bus w/ those specs, if availible, email me or reply. Thanks,

Nic

Take a look at http://www.used-bus.com/ ; you can search by fuel type and trans type plus you can search by brake type if you prefer hydraulic or air brakes.
