Re: The Pig Flys by Roger Walling
Post New Message You may want to consider using Zinc Rich Weld-Thru Primer between your welded panels.
This is the nicest looking schoolie that I have ever seen during construction. Very professional looking.

If you could cover the sides to hide the guardrails, it would look fabulous. You could also install ½ or 3/4” aluminum faced foam in the spaces between the skins; you can never have enough insulation.

One choice for the sides could be translucent roofing used on truck bodies. It comes 8 and 1/2’ wide and as long as you want. The cost is only about $10 a liner foot, and does not require painting. It is very tough and will resist tree branches and misc. scrapes. Finish the edges with “J” track available from the same supplier. Use Sulipreem sealer to fasten the foam to the sides and skin to avoid buckling.
