I have a 1991 Ford/Ward party bus conversion with among other things, an 8 person hot tub inside. I had the same issue. Generator? or Inverter? The best answer is YES!. Get both. I have a 2000 watt inverter (that only cost me 200 bucks brand new from LULU corp). The inverter is connected to pair of golf cart batteries. I also have a gas powered generator that works great as a backup, or to run large loads for a long period of time. The inverter is much more convienent. Generators require fuel most are noisy, there's difficulty in mounting as they require good ventilation, yet protection from the elements. |
