Well Mark unless you've made a mistake in the post it sounds to me like you don't actually have an inverter. What you have is a transformer. It sounds like it does the opposite of what you want it to do. You see input 240 V 60CY means that you want to put 240 AC into the thing and you have 2 secondary transformer windings. One can give you 14 volts and the other will give you 12 volts. Be careful because it sounds like the output will probably be AC and not DC. It handles amount of current but unless you have a special use for it, I can't imangine what anyone would do with it.
