Honda makes a generator that is high tech. i use one every day and love it. very quiet. they are the eu series. they adjust to load so on low demand are idled way down.
fyi. it takes a huge amount of a/c to cool a bus in the sun. and a bank of batteries after they are fully discharged start to go downhill quickly.insulate all you can.
