I have a '75 Crown with a 671. The engine has 102 thou. I don't know what year it was put in or what variety of 671. I'm sure there must be numbers somewhere but I can't find any. Anyone know where to look? Thanks Jerry Summit, Oregon

I have just bought a 1982 with a 671 also...would like to know also...I am north of you...Sedro-Woolley Wa....wath are you useing your for?...Ron

Somewhere on the engine should be a manufacturer's tag that should have all the information you need. On my '79 Crown with a 6-71T, the tag is on the top of the valve cover. You can see it when the driver's side engine compartment door is opened. On my '69 Crown with a Cummins NHH262, the tag is on the bottom side of the engine. One has to crawl under the bus to find the tag. In either case, a good job of steam cleaning revealed the tags to me. Good luck and happy trails. Mark O.
