Towing 5th wheel with a suburban Loyd Brasher 8-6-03
I need the room that my suburban has but I would like to have a 5th wheel. Is there a way to make this work?

Sure it can be done, but it will look funny, and you need to have a 3/4 ton sub.

I have a 3/4 4 speed 4x4 suburban and have thought the same thing. Sadly your best best is to trade the Suburban in on a crew cab. A simple topper with sliding pass through windows and you are set. Remove the top to pull the 5th wheel.
I am sure you could weld up a 5th wheel hitch to mount into a receaver hitch but it would never be safe/ controlable or strong,
good luck
