I'm about to start the interrior of my bus and dont know if I should go with plywood all the way or if I could use particle board for the cabinets, benches, table, ect. I'm going to frame everything in also glue and screw everything together.
Well Doug Plywood is better and will hold up better in Due time It also has a better finished result but that just my oppinion. I have done a conversion with both woods and both have work good for the conditions which they were used for. But I really like the Plywood for a longer last and neater finish. Good luck......
It has been my experience as a master carpenter that particle board has a much longer durability when you use a grade 10 or higher. My bus has held up nicely for over 5 years in the miserable conditions here in Juneau, AK.
I an just buying my first bus, here in Florida. The humidity in an ANY vehicle, our house, will seperate particleboard, into tiny nparticles, in 3 years.
