Power assist steering conversion Evan 1-25-03
I've got a 1972 intl. loadstar 1700 with a wayne body and the 345 engine. I'm looking for info on adding power/assist steering to help me get in and out of my tight parking space.

i appreciate any feedback/advice.
Re: power assist steering conversion IHC Busman 1-26-03
We have some 65-84 parts buses all IHC/thomas buses so it may be as simple as just adding a steering gearbox that is made for power steering and bolting on a power steering pump. i will do some more research for you and if the gearbox will bolt right up im sure i may have the gearbox and power steering pump. i think one of my late 70s models may have power steering.

Could anyone help me with the MCI parts or part numbers required to convert my 1974 MCI5b to the later power steeting box? Thank you, Roger
