Does anyone know where I can find info on tuneing a Hall Scott 6 cyl and where to buy parts?

These engines were used in Crown buses, Crown Firecoaches and ACF Brill buses.

Many years ago an ACF Brill owner told me there was a Hall Scott owners club. They had all 7 remaining head gaskets, 72 valves, etc.

My advice: Get a 6-71 or Cummins from a Crown, get better gas mileage, parts are still made.

Hi. I am sending this message for Perry Coyle. He has a 58 Crown Coach with a Hall Scott Engine 194 horse power. He lives in Corvallis, Or. He is looking for the scematics for the wiring of the bus under the dash. He is also looking to sell the engine if anyone is interested. Please e-mail me back. Thanks NS
