As far as Blue Book value goes, I don't think I've ever heard of "blue book" value on any used school bus.
Your best price range for something that old would probably be anywhere between $1500/$2000 depending on condition. If it's REAL bad, then I wouldn't even bother with it.

My friemd's church has a 1989 Ford Econoline 350, 25 passenger bus, for which they paid $2,000.00, and have put $2,500.00 of work into. I'm told it is in good working order, and they would like to know what to ask for it, as they no longer use it, and are ready to sell it and recoup as much of their money as possible. Could you give me a blue book value on 2000 Freightliner, Thomas Convential 47 Passenger yellow bus. Cumm. 175 hp ISB DSL with 545 automatic tranmission, air brakes w/ABS, tilt steering column, block heater, stop arm with lights, heated double nickel mirrors, AM/FM/Cass/PA, outside PA system. The bus currently has 14918 miles on it per its Dec 2006 DOT inspection. We are beginning to look at our options to sell this bus outright due to lack of use on our part.
