I bought a new trailer this summer and included in the deal was to install heat patches on the tanks w/ insulated underbelly.I took the trailer back to the dealer and they put the ducted under-belly but did not install the heat patches.
I will probably use this trailer most every weekend and my concern was keeping the tanks from freezing when I was out where there is no electricity. I do have a generator, but did not want to have to run the furnace all the time. and where I store the trailer(at my house) I have a 50 amp plug.
I just did't want to winterise my trailer every week and the dealer is telling me I will be sorry for the patches that draw to many amps, and that winterising is the way to go.

The tank heaters are nice but do draw amps when always plugged in to your house it wont be a problem but you will need heat in the coach to protect the water lines internally leave cabinet doors open so heat can disburse through out the coach but truley winterizing is the best way contact me at above e-mail and you can recieve a free winterizing tip sheet
