I just take the manditory basic channels. I only watch ten of them and have no use for the radio channels. When I first joined Bell Expressview, it cost me $12.00 a month. I can't afford extra packages. In the last three years Bell has added a "SYSTEM CHARGE" of $3.00 three times. The latest charge will take effect on 01-May-2006. However, what gets me is that the people who can afford MORE programing will not be charged the extra $3.00 and will not have to pay for any extra receivers. The rich SAVE and the poor PAY. They say they can't support older programing packages such as mine. So, if I upgrade to a new package it will cost a minimum of $27.00 per month. I now pay $23.00 per month. What a coincidence? Add $3.00 to $23.00 and you get $26.00. This is blackmail. Bell just wants more money out of us!!! I wish I knew where to complain to about this? Is there an Ombudsman I can send my complaint to. I tried CRTC after their second $3.00 system charge hike last year and they told me Expressview is unregulated and they can charge whatever they want!! They are greedy and have a monopoly.
