Re: 1981 Fleetwood Prowler HELP by mark twain
Post New Message Hello again, propane problems?, with the stove it might be easier.Remove the top of the stove and make sure all the ventports are clean. You can do this by taking a needle or paperclip to clean out the small holes.Next you make sure all flow tubes are in alignment with burners, you may have small screw adjustments near your pilot,if so make sure they move a little. These are your pilot height adjustments, make sure they"re open, but not too much.Turn on the gas and light the pilot. Also there maybe a wire near the pilot that connects into the stove, this is a thermocouple, place it in the flame of the pilot. When you light the pilot you may have to hold the flame on the wire and pilot for a while, but not too long! The thermo. controls the gas entering the unit, if no heat is present it shuts off the gas.(yes gas regulators go bad).
