I'm currently in Long island, New York. I was originally ( since 22dec 2002
- 1Apr 2003) in New Hampshire and was planning on going to Florida, when one night we popped into a bar in Manhattan and a gentleman suggested we stay right here in NY, long island. Why?...There's enough work for your entire crew (weather your 2 or 50...), but accomodation is insanely expensive...we were very lucky to find a room ( 4 by 5 meters, stove, shower and toilet with TV) for $250.00 a week. Even the locals can't believe it, so it's hard to come by cheap accomodation. But maybe your in luck when you come past...

The rent is only this expensive in summer, with a bit of luck you might find an entire house (big ass house...) for between $1800.00 and $5000.00 per month, but thats in winter only ( 30 Oct to 30May )...
Great island, beautiful woman and lots of party, in the summer that is...
