1976 TOYOTA CHINOOK $3950 4-speed, 4 cylinder, 110K original miles. Runs like a top! 20R engine, brand new tires & nice rims, complete exhaust, four new shocks, new brakes, mechanically sound. Economical and very fun. It's ready to drive across the country. The top pops straight up, full XL bed with 4" latex & 2" memory foam cushions (I worked in a bed store and tore apart a $2,100 Simmons bed and replaced all the original foam), new upholstery. I don't have any pics of it yet to show, I just decided to sell it, which I don't want to do, I just don't use it much. I've owned it for three years. It only cost $140/year for full insurance, which is sweet. I bought it from the original owners here who just bought a 2006 Chinook, now the vehicles are three times the size. Holla if interested!
I AM serious! Had a Chinook in 1989 and miss it desperately. Another thing: Lived in and loved Alb for 5 years, so coming to get it would mean seeing friends and enjoying the trip. I need photos and all pertinant info. Mileage, etc. How are the windshield wipers? HA just kidding! Photos, please, And really, what does this baby need to travel long distance? I want a long distance traveler. I want a sweet Chinook to adventure in! So, no saying it is in perfect shape, bla bla bla. I need/deserve the truth.
