Wanted: Vanagon Adventurewagen William B 9-24-05
I'm looking for an adventurewagen, 1980-1991. I'm willing to consider just about anything aircooled, water, rusty, wrecked, missing engine... doesn't really matter. I just need one with an intact hightop and intact working intieror. I can fix just about anything else. Let me know what you have. I'm on the east coast but will travel for a good deal.

If you're considering selling, or actually are actively selling i'd be interested in hearing from you.

Hello. I am writing to see if you might be interested in buying a 1886 VW Vanagon AdventureWagen. I bought the vehicle in 2002 in Arizona after the previous owner spent $10,000 to restore it to “like new” (new/rebuilt engine, transmission, etc) then, for whatever reason, he decided to buy a new Eurovan. As you can imagine, I was happy to take the Van off his hands. I have all of the receipts and records of the work he had done. I have not had one problem with the van since I bought it and have had it serviced for the last 4 years with a local VW Vanagon guru in Sierra Vista, AZ.

I am currently serving a deployment tour with the US Army in Japan and the Van is in storage (since December 2005/Driven once a week) in Arizona. I have been reassigned to Wisconsin next month and although I would love to keep the van, I need to buy a different kind of vehicle for the family. I thought you guys might be interested in this rare but super vehicle.

Let me know what you think and if there are anymore details you would like.
