Re: HOTWATER HEATER PROBLEMS BUBBA THE BUS TECH 10-22-08
There are many many reasons that your heater wont work on LPG. But the two control systems are completly seperate. With out an Idea of the age and or model # I cant even guess. Sorry

This Atwood unit is a 10 gallon GC10A-4E, SERIAL NUMBER 94021013315. It is installed in a 2004 Holiday Rambler Presidential. I'm assuming that the unit was built between 2002/2004? Thanks,
Mark

Is it at temp when your trying the lp? there is an eco and t-stat safty switch. the eco has a reset button in the middle of it. this is accessed on the out side of the water heater. On some there is a black cover that has a rubber plug in it that you can press. If it is tripped you will feel a click when you push it in. also there is a thremal fuse on some models just above the burrner tube in a clear rubber tube. you can check that by just unplugging it from the t-stat and the wire going to it and plug the brown wire back in to the t-stat. if that is the problem it will then light. good luck
