Furnance will not heat tom 9-19-08
Hi there
I have 1997/8 coachmen mirada, when I set my thermostat to heat the rig, the furnance goes on, you can hear the propane being let through, than the igniter clics and makes that noise when the spark goes on, it ignites the propane only for 5-10 seconds,...than it goes off and repeats the procedure for couple of more times than it stops doing it..but the fan runs and blows cold air. looks like the igniter works because I can see sparks and I took it out ant there was no build up of any sort, the fly in the blower seems to be fine.....what could be the problem?
can you please give me all possible causes for this behaviour.
thank you

It sounds like the board is not seeing the flame. One of the guys on this board will able to tell more if we knew what make and model furnace it is. Also if you want to go thru the work most RV places will bench test the board for you at the parts counter free of charge. If they won't move on to the next. We want your business and thats what we do to sell $200 parts. Good Luck
