Atwood 8525 IV Circuit Board Wiring? Gerry 9-16-08
The furnace in my motorhome will not light. Fan will run, sail switch and limit switch seem to be working. I replaced the original circuit board will a universal board (dinosaur). I have power at the board but cannot hear ignitor or the gas valve solenoid activating. I have a 3 wire plug to the board, white - power, red- gas valve and yellow - ground. The board has a fourth connection - sensor, is this required? The furnace fired once with old board, unable to duplicate since. With fan running I also have power to the gas valve connection - red, is this also normaal? Wiring diagram downloaded from internet shows 4 wires to the board? HELP Tks
