I just bought a boat it has a 302.
the engine is rusted from being uncoverd.The engine is froze. The pistons are pitted and rusted. There are no cracks in the block or heads But the cam is clean and has no wear marks I was wondering should i do a complete rebuild or work with what I have ????

If the pistons are pitted and rusted, the block needs to be boiled out and a full rebuild needs to be done. If the cylinder walls are pitted, they will need to be bored and honed.
