Works good on electric. The gas will light and stays on for approx. ten seconds. Then goes out. Ignitor keeps firing the whole time it is lite. Could it be the ignition modular? I have a 6162 model number fridge. My friend has a 6062 model number fridge. They look similar. Would I be able to try the 6062 ignitor modular in my 6162 without causing damage to my fridge? There is no part number on the modular to see if they are the same.
I have a 1 month old N84 3 way. Its complaining about low DC power when ever I turn on a light or the furnace goes on. I have new 4 6 volt in 2 series batteries setup and have had to have board replaced twice now.
Anyone else experiencing similar problems? This when its on 110Volt service. Why would the fridge require 12V power when there is amble 110VAC? This doesn't make any sense and the installer is at a loss as well. All connections have been checked, power consumption is within specs.
More importantly why is the circuitry requiring 12volt support when there is 110VAC available?
Hi Travis, The PC boards are interchangable between these two models. It's part# 618661 or 61647422 (replace with 618661). It could also be that the spark/sensing electrode isn't telling the board the flame is lit. Or the board isn't reading it hence trying the board swap. Is the LP orifice or burner dirty? LP pressure ok? Good 12 volt power? Just some things to check. Good luck!
Model 3163 vw camper I cannot hear the spark igniter trying to light - have cleaned burner, chimney, was working at night - then not in the morning - hadn't moved van - lots of problems with this fridge but always in past the igniter would work. How do I test for gas pressure etc.
I have a model n841 Norcold fridge and no matter what I do it freezes everything. On Gas or Electric 120v. I turn it off wait a few hours turn it back on and in 5 or 6 hours everything is frozen again.
right now it is set on 1 no change. I bought the unit Jan 10 2008 and it just started giving trouble about 2 days ago.

I have a norcold fridge model n841 that is freezing everything.it is on electric and set on 1 and when i swith it off for 5 or 6 hours then turn it back on leave it on all night the next morning all froze again.
